The Chillicothe R-II School Board took action Tuesday to award a couple of bids. The School Board met via an online meeting program to meet the social distancing requirements.
The first bid was for the mowing of School District Property. That was awarded to G & B Custom Mowing. They were the only bidder and the rate was unchanged from last year.
The School Board also approved the bid for the Grand River Technical School Carpentry Program house build. There were two bids for the projects. The winning bid was by Bill and Millie Breeden. Their bid was $23,000 over the cost of the materials.
The board also approved the destruction of personnel filed from 1999 and before, for employees that are no longer working for the district. The School District files are in the process of going electronic, including scanning of older records.
