Livingston County Sheriff’s Department K9 – Zaki – was injured in the incident in Wheeling on March 19th. Sheriff Steve Cox says Zaki is still recovering.
Cox says Zaki’s injuries will be reevaluated at that time.
He says the long term expectation is Zaki will make a full recovery.
