As we are out, some working and others taking care of essential activities, we get home and we wash our hands, but what about other surfaces. Knowing coronaviruses have the potential to last on surfaces such as metal, glass or plastic for days, you are encouraged to take precautionary measures and regularly clean your devices. The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) suggests that people clean all “high touch” surfaces, such as phones and tablets, every day.
Simply wipe those devices and surfaces with a sanitizing cloth or use a sanitizing spray and wipe them. If you are sharing devices, it is even more important to clean them regularly. If you are unsure how to properly clean some devices, check with the manufacturer for their recommendations.
