A motorcycle accident Saturday evening left the rider with moderate injuries. State Troopers in Linn County investigated the accident on Highway 11, west of New Boston. Forty-four-year-old Ronald Eakins of Bucklin was westbound and did not make it through a curve. He ran off the right side fo the road and the bike overturned. Eakins was taken to Pershing Memorial Hospital in Brookfield for treatment. He was wearing a helmet.
