Chillicothe Police Report For Monday

Chillicothe Police officers responded to 72 calls for service Monday.  No arrests were reported.

2:10 am, Officer was dispatched to the area on Arcadia and Fairview to check on a utility pole about to fall.  CMU was notified of the situation.

3:52 pm, Complaint of young children riding bicycles in the roadway in the 100 block of E. Jackson Street.   Officers contacted children and parents and advised them to not ride their bikes in-and-out of traffic.

5:03 pm, Officer responded to a resident in the 1100 block of Arcadia on a reported fraud involving identity theft and the person’s bank account.  The investigation continues.

7:36 pm, Officers responded to the 400 block of Dickinson Street about possible animal neglect.  Officers contacted the pet owner and counseled them on necessary pet care.

7:49 pm, Officers responded to a residence in the 400 block of Elm Street where a subject had been locked out of the residence.  No assault or injury inflicted.  No arrests made.  The officers were called back to the home a couple more times, but no arrests were made.

8:47 pm, Commercial business alarm in the 500 block of S. Washington Street.  The building was checked and the owner notified.

9:03 pm, Officer received a report of a cow in the roadway near Highway 65 and Kelsie Reeter Road.  As Officers arrived, the owner was taking care of corralling the animal.
