The Chillicothe City Council held a public hearing Monday night to consider the use of Capital Improvement Sales Tax funds for the purchase of two pieces of equipment for the Street Department
The equipment includes a Loader – not to exceed $130.000 and a truck – not to exceed $40,000.
The only comment was from 2nd Ward Councilman Wayne Cunningham asked why the Street Department needed a new loader. Street Superintendent Jeff Gilespie responded.
He also explained this would replace the loader that is not usable at this time.
