If you’re planning on traveling south on I-35 between Cameron and Kearney next week, be aware a resurfacing project is under way and some ramps will be closed.
The Missouri Department of Transportation says the project will require ramp closures next week. Ramps closed at the start of the project will be at I-35 and Route 116, which leads to Polo. The Southbound on and off ramps will be closed Monday the 20th and Northbound on and off ramps there will be closed Tuesday.
The resurfacing project will stretch from Route 116 to the Clinton/Clay County lines through the middle of July.
One lane of I-35 in each direction is expected to remain open throughout the project. A 12-feet restriction will be in place for the duration of the project.
