The Chillicothe Police Department responded to 87 calls for service Tuesday. Some of the calls include:
8:58 am, Officers dispatched to a report of a dog inside a business in the 1200 block of N. Washington Street and workers can’t get the dog out. Officers responded to the scene and the dog had already exited the building.
10:24 am, an Officer traveled to Trenton for a Child Advocacy meeting and Investigation.
2:27 pm, Officer speaking to someone on the phone reporting possible sexual assault. The investigation is continuing.
2:42 pm, Officers began an investigation into a report of fraudulent use of a credit device from a resident in the 1600 block of Third Street. The credit device was used to purchase items on-line without the owner’s consent.
4:42 pm, Officers began an investigation into a stolen vehicle in the 1300 block of Cooper Street. Information was obtained and the vehicle was entered into the law enforcement computer system as stolen. The investigation continues.
5:30 pm, Officers responded to a report of a vicious dog of a restricted breed, at large in the 400 block of Clay Street.
6:41 pm, Report of illegal burning at the intersection of Third and Turner Street, believed fire too close to structure. Officer checked the fire and determined it a safe distance from the building and it was being monitored.
7:02 pm, Report of kids riding motorbikes on the sidewalk in the 300 block of Mansur Street. Officers located the subjects and they were adults. Officers waned them of the violation.
8:55 pm, Report of subject trespassing at a vacant building at Clay and Locust Streets. The person was located and just sitting outside the building. The person went on their way. No report.
