The Chillicothe Police Department responded to 92 calls for service Wednesday.
2:03 am, Officers responded to the 200 block of N. Washington St. to follow-up on an investigation. A subject was detained and upon a search of their property, narcotics were found in their possession. The contraband was seized and the subject was released.
2:07 am, Officer was contacted near the intersection of Calhoun and Elm Streets by a subject wanting to turn themselves in on an active arrest warrant. Livingston County warrant for Violation of Bond Conditions was confirmed and the 50-year-old Chillicothe resident was brought to the PD, processed and released.
2:34 am, Report of someone walking around with a spotlight in the 500 block of Calhoun Street. It was believed to be Police Officers searching the area for evidence and suspects in a theft investigation.
9:59 am, Officers took a report of a check stolen from a mailbox in the 2200 block of Clay Street. The theft occurred on Tuesday between 0830 and 0930 hours. Investigation continuing.
10:45 am, Officer spoke to someone on the phone reporting a possible stolen bicycle.
11:29 am, Officers took a report of a check stolen from the mail in the 700 block of Grandview on Tuesday.
1:18 pm, Officers called to a business in the 600 block of S. Washington Street for a disturbance involving a former employee. The person had left before Officers’ arrival but was contacted and told not to return.
6:26 pm, Report of a minor vehicle accident in the 200 block of N. Washington Street. Subjects were contacted and exchanged information.
11:43 pm, Report of yelling coming from a home in the 1400 block of Miller Street. Officers located the address and spoke with residents. The child was calm at the time.
