The annual contract with Economic Developer Rumery and Associates was approved at Monday’s Council meeting. Under the contract, the City of Chillicothe, Farmers Electric Cooperative, CDC, and CMU together pay $36,000. City Administrator Darin Chappell says even though the public may not see how this helps the city, it is important to the city.
The City collects the funds from the other organizations and makes the payment on a monthly basis.
