Although the vast majority of state parks have remained open with restrictions during the statewide stay-at-home order, Carol Comer the director for the Dept of Natural resources says they have begun a phased approach to resuming normal operations at state parks.
The new guidelines will include limited visitor capacity for day use to be able to follow social distancing and prevent overcrowding. Park campgrounds will continue to be closed until May 18th, when this will be reevaluated. Up to date information on each park can be found on their website mostateparks.com
