Chillicothe Fire Fighters responded to an automated alarm at a business at 708 South Washington Street. The call came in Thursday at about 2:20 am and the fire crew arrived in three minutes to find no sign of smoke or fire from the outside. Dispatch had attempted to contact the owner. Fire Fighters forced the door and entered the building, checking to make sure there was no sign of fire. Dispatch made contact with the owner, who arrived and was told about the broken lock.
The fire crew returned to service after 30 minutes.
