The Chillicothe City Council approved the service contracts with several community organizations at Monday’s meeting. Contracts that were approved for the amounts requested include:
Chillicothe Chamber of Commerce – $5,300
Main Street Chillicothe – $30,000
YMCA – $17,000…. Reduced from $19,000
University of Missouri Extension – $5,000
Chillicothe Area Arts Council – $5,000
Community Resource Center – $2,500
Freedom Festival – $4,000
Riding for our Veterans Rodeo – $500
All of the contracts include an addendum due to the COVID-19.
There are also performance requirements for the Arts Council, Freedom Festival and Rodeo before they will be paid.
The Summer Playground Association will not have activities this summer and will not receive funds.
