The North Missouri Center for Youth and Families will begin their No Hunger Summer program on Monday, May 18th. The center is teamed up with Second Harvest Community Food Bank to provide the meals to children 18 and under. Blake Haynes from Second Harvest says the program will be a “Grab & Go Meal,” where families can drive up and pick-up the meal or meals for the children and take them with them. This reduces personal contact and improves social distancing. There is no charge and no paperwork to fill out.
The No Hunger Summer program at North Missouri Center for Youth and Families will run from May 18th to August 21st.
Additional details are expected to be released soon.
