An accident in Chariton County left a 19-year-old woman with serious injuries Saturday afternoon on Missouri 24 in Keytesville. Josclynn Beck of Salisbury was struck by a vehicle driven by 54-year-old Christina Thomas of Richmond. Beck was flown to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment of serious injuries.
The Highway Patrol reports the accident happened as Beck attempted to run across Highway 24 and ran into the path of the Thomas vehicle.
