Flood warnings are issued for the Grand River at Pattonsburg, Gallatin, Chillicothe, Sumner, and Brunswick.
At Pattonsburg, the river is rising towards flood stage of 25 feet and is expected to crest at 26.2 feet around 7:00 pm today. The river should fall back below flood stage later tonight.
At Gallatin, the river is rising and should reach flood stage of 26 feet Friday morning, with a crest of 27.6 feet expected before mid-day Friday. Flooding will continue until late Friday afternoon.
At Chillicothe, the river should rise back above flood stage of 24 feet later this afternoon and moderate flooding is expected, with a crest of 31.2 feet Friday afternoon. Flooding will continue until around mid-day Saturday.
At Sumner, moderate flooding continues and the river is expected to rise further, to a crest of 24.9 feet Saturday morning, and the river should fall back below flood stage of 26 feet Monday morning.
At Brunswick, the river is at 21 feet this morning and will rise to a crest of 23.8 feet Sunday morning. The river is expected to fall back below flood stage of 19 feet late Monday night.
