Chillicothe Police officers responded to 110 calls for service and reported one arrest Friday. The calls include:
8:45 am, Officers responded to a disturbance in the 600 block of Calhoun St. An assault is alleged to have occurred and investigation continuing.
12:25 pm, Responded to a minor injury, two vehicle crash at Ryan Lane and Graves. A westbound vehicle on Ryan Lane made a left turn in front of a vehicle that was eastbound and caused a collision The driver making the left turn complained of injury and was seen by Emergency Services but refused transport for treatment. Both vehicles were driven from the scene.
2:00 pm, Officers responded to a home on Sunset Avenue in reference to a dog that was tangled in it’s chain. Officers were able to get the dog untangled.
2:45 pm, Officers took a report of stealing in the 1100 block of Walnut Street. A cart owned by a local business was taken and has not been returned. The investigation is continuing.
3:40 pm, Officer spoke to a person in reference observing illegal drug use. investigation continuing.
5:00 pm, Officers responded to a business in the 1000 block of Graves Street in reference to a reported shoplifter. The person was identified, taken to the police department, processed and released with citations.
10:25 pm, Officers performed a compliance check at a local drinking establishment. Everything OK.
