State Troopers investigated two single-vehicle accidents Thursday morning in the area counties.
At about 2:30 am in Linn County, 60-year-old James A Hollon of Gladstone had minor injuries when he ran off the road while southbound on Highway 5, north of Linneus. According to the report, Hollon hydroplaned and went off the left side fo the road and hit the ditch. He was wearing a safety belt and was taken to Pershing Memorial Hospital in Brookfield.
At about 4:50 am Thursday in Daviess County, 44-year-old Jessie Eaton of Kidder had minor injuries when he struck a washout in the road while southbound on Route J, north of Kidder. Eaton was taken to Cameron Regional Hospital for treatment. He was wearing a safety belt.
