The Chillicothe City Council approved two promotions and one hiring in their executive session Wednesday. At the Chillicothe Fire Department, Jonathon Nolan was promoted to Lieutenant/Paramedic and Bill Gutshall was promoted to Engineer/Paramedic.
The council also approved the conditional hiring of Ean Clevenger as a full-time police officer. The hiring is contingent on his graduation from the Police Academy.
Both actions were approved on votes of 5/0.
