Chillicothe police officers responded to 100 calls for service Thursday.
1:30 am, a domestic disturbance was reported in the 400 block of Calhoun Street. Officers determined the disturbance was a verbal argument between two subjects. A 23-year-old failed to comply with a lawful order from Police during the investigation and was arrested and held at the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail pending charges of peace disturbance and resisting arrest.
7:22 am, Officers received a report of an adult having provided intoxicants to a juvenile. The investigation continues.
7:42 am, Officers took a report of phone fraud. The report states the suspect represented themselves as a police officer and was requiring money from the local resident. The department received similar calls throughout the day. Chillicothe Police reports their department will not call and request money from you and reminds you to not provide your personal information to anyone over the phone.
8:56 am, Officer out in the 200 block of Webster Street to check on two small children that were unsupervised and playing near the street. Officers contacted the parent who had been sleeping and unaware the children had gotten out of the house. Information will be forwarded to Family Services.
11:25 am, Officer dispatched to a two-vehicle crash at Polk and Washington Street. No one was injured and minor damage inflicted.
3:09 pm, officers checked a report of a minor accident in the 1800 block of Calhoun Street, where a vehicle backing from a private driveway and striking a vehicle at curbside. The driver was cited for improper backing.
