Certification of the June 2nd election results is part of the agenda for the Chillicothe R-II School Board tonight. The meeting will begin at 6:00 pm at the Mervin Jenkins building at the Livingston County Fair Grounds.
Recognition will take place at the beginning of the meeting, including for the Partners in Education Program.
The Board will certify the election results and will then will have recognition of outgoing board members.
The board will adjourn Sine Die (Sigh-nee-Die) and reconvene after the new members are sworn in. That is followed by the election of board officers.
Other items on the agenda:
An update for MSBA Policy for Student Conduct on School Transportation, Consideration for the Student Handbooks and changes, and the board will consider the Salary & Welfare Committee’s proposal. There will also be a discussion on the Levy and the Budget.
The final items in the open session are an update on the District Office Project and information on Surplus Property
An executive session is planned to follow the regular meeting.
