Second Harvest Community Food Bank announced a new partnership with Lifepoint Church Food Pantry in Chillicothe.
Chad Higdon, CEO of Second Harvest says “We are extremely excited to announce our new partnership with Lifepoint Church Food Pantry.” He says their vision is for a hunger-free Northwest Missouri and Northeast Kansas and the partnership in Livingston County assists in achieving that goal.
Lifepoint Church Food Pantry will be distributing food to the public directly. The organization has an on-site food pantry and will also be distributing food through The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) and the Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP). This partnership will fall into place in addition to the Fresh Mobile Pantry distribution that takes place at the Lifepoint Church in Chillicothe on the second Tuesday of every month.
