When a library book is returned to the library, what steps are required before it can be returned to circulation? It turns out it is a pretty simple process. The State Librarian of Missouri, Robin Westphall says a study was done to determine the life span of COVID-19 on various material.
Westphall says the study showed COVID-19 did not persist beyond three days.
She says the book can be shelved during that period but the State Library recommends they be laid out on tables if the facility has the space available.
