The new Livingston County Library building for youth and teens will be finished in a few weeks. Librarian Candy Warren says there will be a transition period when moving from one building to another. She says youth should stock up now before the August 3rd cut off date to check out items from the youth and young adult departments.
Warren said the scheduled move will be in early August, but the re-opening date has not yet been set.
The new Youth library building will be called the Lillian DesMarias Youth Branch, in honor of the lead donor.
Warren says the children’s library phone line number will not be available starting Monday when they will start transferring it to the new building. She says you can still call the main library number at 646-0547.
