Replacement of a bridge on LIV 409, north of Moorseville will begin in early August. Livingston County Presiding Commissioner Ed Douglas says this is one of the projects that receive federal funding.
The county is responsible for $63,000, but that is what is called “soft match,” which comes from credits through other projects. The County doesn’t spend money on the project.
The preconstruction meeting was held recently with the contractor, Brookfield Box. The start date is around August 10th and they hope to finish the work in late October.
