The Chillicothe Police Department responded to 71 calls for service and made two arrests Wednesday.
7:34 am, Officers were dispatched to the 200 block of Polk Street, for a reported burglary. The investigation continues.
7:57 am, Officers arrested a 27-year-old male in the 10 block of S. Washington Street on a Caldwell County arrest warrant for domestic assault. He was processed and released to the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office.
9:01 am, Officers arrested an individual on a DeKalb County warrant. The person was unable to post bond and was taken to Daviess/DeKalb County Regional Jail.
10:17 am, Officer traveled to Trenton for a child advocacy meeting.
12:36 pm, Officers responded to First and Hickory Streets to a report of a dog hit by a vehicle. Animal Control was contacted.
3:28 pm, Parking complaint in the 900 block of Vine. The owner was contacted and moved the vehicle.
6:19 pm, Officers responded to a report of unattended kids in a vehicle in the 1000 block of Graves Street. Parent were contacted and counseled.
9:42 pm, Officers reported to the 1500 block of Bryan Street on a report of a juvenile sneaking out of the home. They were located and brought home.
