Chillicothe police responded to more than 100 calls for service over the weekend and report one arrest.
Sunday
2:58 AM, Officers responded to the 600 block of Bussiness 36 on a well being check of a person walking on the side of the roadway. He stated he did not need assistance.
12:15 PM, Officers were called to the 600 block of Walnut Street to retrieve found property. They determined it may be connected to other criminal activity and will be under investigation.
2:52 PM, Officers took a burglary report in the 300 block of Jackson Street. Officers located a person in the home who was identified as a suspect in various other cases being worked by the Chillicothe Police Department. The person was arrested for trespassing, stealing, and burglary.
5:02 PM, Officers took a report of trespassing in the area of East Jackson Street near the railroad tracks. The investigation is ongoing.
10:47 PM, Officers responded to the 400 block of Walnut Street for a report of attempted burglary. The suspect had fled the scene when officers arrived and could not be located. The investigation continues.
Saturday
2:41 PM, Officers responded to the 1500 block of Walnut Street for a report of Domestic Violence. The incident was verbal. No arrests were made.
6:04 PM, Officers responded to Highway 65 and Sioux Drive to check the well-being of a person walking along the roadway. He did not need assistance.
9:59 PM, Officers responded to the area of Waples and Liberia for a report of a possible house fire. No house fire was located. There was however a small recreational fire at a home.
