The number of active cases of COVID-19 at the Chillicothe Correction Center are beginning to drop. Department of Corrections officials report the total number among offenders is 216. That includes 29 that have recovered and 187 active cases.
The number of staff at the Chillicothe facility that have active cases of COVID-19 is 12 with 9 recovered, for a total of 21.
Before the staff member can return to work after testing positive for COVID-19, they must receive two test results that show they are negative for COVID-19.
