Open houses for the Chillicothe R-II Elementary School In-Person Learners will be held on August 25th. The first day of class for K-5 is Wednesday, August 26th.
The CES, Field, and Dewey Open House will include a time limit of 15 minutes. During this time, one parent per family will bring his/her student to meet his/her teacher. The child will leave with the parent when the 15 minutes is complete.
During the scheduled visit, you may bring student’s supplies, receive classroom SeeSaw login information, visit the learning environment/classroom, receive Title I information, and receive a short activity to complete.
You and your child will be required to wear a face mask and follow social distancing guidelines. If you have any COVID-19 symptoms please contact your child’s school to reschedule.
The School District plans to mail teacher letters by August 14th.
Elementary students that are Distance Learning will attend an orientation meeting, with one parent, on August 25th at 6:00 pm at the Chillicothe High School Performing Arts Center. At this time, you will meet the Distance Learning teachers, pay $20 for IPad/Chromebook insurance to receive the device, and be given the parent/student and teacher expectations.
You and your child will be required to wear a face mask and use social distancing guidelines.
