The Chillicothe Police Department responded to 75 calls for service Wednesday. Some of those calls include:
1:12 am, Officers observed a traffic violation on S. Washington Street. The vehicle was stopped and the driver was found to be impaired. The 24-year-old Chillicothe resident was arrested for Driving while intoxicated, failure to drive in a single lane, and No Insurance.
4:54 am, Possible domestic disturbance in the 1500 block of Springhill Street. The caller was afraid because the other person was outside the house. The officers arrived and the caller refused to come to the door. The other person left.
1:58 pacwm, Officer checking a report of possible animal neglect at home in the 1400 block of Clay Street. Incident handled by Officer.
8:12 pm, Report of open burning violation in the 400 block of Walnut Street. The resident was contacted and the fire put out.
