A Fordland, Missouri man had serious injuries in a single-vehicle rollover accident on Highway 13 Thursday morning. Sixty-two-year-old Stanley Phelps was flown to Truman Medical Center following the accident at about 7:45 am. According to the report, Phelps was northbound on Highway 13, just north of Polo, and fell asleep. His truck ran off the west side of the road. He overcorrected a couple of times before the truck overturned several times in the roadway, coming to rest on its top. Phelps was not wearing a safety belt.
