The Chillicothe Police Department responded to 80 calls for service Wednesday. Some of the calls included serving papers and public relations.
12:45 am, Officers out in 400 block of Herriman Street on an investigation. While at this location Officers arrested a 22-year-old Brunswick resident on a Linn County warrant for failure to appear on a theft charge. They were extradited by Linn County authorities.
9:22 am, School Resource Officer out on two juvenile attendance issues.
2:39 pm, Officers observed a possible stolen bicycle being ridden and contacted the person riding the bike. They arrested the 55-year-old Chillicothe resident on a Caldwell County warrant. The person was also found in possession of a controlled substance. Additional charges are pending. The person was extradited by Caldwell County authorities.
3:29 pm, Officer out on reported hit and run in a parking lot in the 1000 block of Graves Street. Investigation continuing.
11:47 pm Officer out in the 400 block of Third Street on well-being check and reported suspicious activity. Subject of suspicious activity unable to be found and determined unfounded.
