Two people from Iowa were injured early Monday afternoon when their motorcycle struck a deer in Sullivan County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 65-year-old Kevin Whisler of Centerview, Iowa was driving his 2015 Harley Davidson motorcycle on Missouri 139, one and a half miles south of Humphreys when the motorcycle struck a deer, ejecting Whisler and his passenger, 61-year-old Vicky Stricker of Moravia, Iowa.
Both suffered moderate injuries and both were taken to University Hospital in Columbia. Whistler by Air Evac and Strickler by Life Flight Eagle.
