Several Chillicothe Cross Country runners set personal records at their home cross country meet which featured 30 teams.
For the boys, the Hornets finished 8th. Individually Hayden Simmer was 12th and Clayton Savage was 28th. Austin Lyford 57th, Gavin Funk 62nd, and Kade Simmer 80th.
For the Chillicothe girls, Aliya Briner was 5th, Kadence Shipers 10th, Juliann Gabrielson 13th, and Kaylynn Cranmer was 37th. With only four runners, they did not qualify for the team standings.
In the Middle School race, the Hornet Middle School team won the race with Carter Shipers 2nd, Luke Thompson 3rd, Cain Evans 6th, Cutter Parkes 8th, Landyn Peterson 9th, Alton Keller 11th, and Dierk Brown 18th.
Middle School girls were led by Lydia Gabrielson 4th, Anna Pfaff 6th, Yoo Jung Lee 7th, and Karissa Fostek 12th.
