The Missouri State Highway Patrol made two unrelated arrests in Caldwell County, just minutes apart.
Troopers arrested 38-year-old Wayne Perkins of Smithville on four charges. He was arrested on Felony Possession of Controlled Substance, No Seat Belt, Possession of Marijuana-prior offense, and Unlawful Use of Drug Paraphernalia.
Seven minutes later, Troopers arrested 23-year-old Cierra Stevens from Chicago on Felony possession of a controlled substance. She also was placed in the Caldwell County Detention Center on a 24-hour hold.
