The Chillicothe Police report for Friday includes several investigations.
11:07 am, Complaint of illegally parked vehicles near Graves and Jameson Streets. Officer checked and vehicles parked legally.
11:27 am, Officers out under the viaduct checking well-being of person reported to be sleeping in sleeping bag. Subject found to be OK and is moving on.
11:28 am, Officers checking numerous locations for subject reported to be missing from the Hale-Bedford area. Officers were unable to locate the subject.
3:56 pm, Officers out in the 700 block of Webster Street on a two vehicle accident where a vehicle baked into another at a stop light. The driver was issued a citation for improper backing and no insurance.
5:41 pm, Officers responded to the 1000 block of Graves Street on a report of an attempted kidnapping report. Officers found a female subject had confused her daughter with a young female in the store. Further investigation revealed the female subject was in possession of a controlled substance. She was arrested and transported to the Chillicothe Police Department where she was processed, issued a citation and released with a court date.
