A UTV Accident south of Chillicothe Saturday evening left three injured, including two with serious injuries. The accident happened at about 8:00 pm on private property near LIV 420. According to the report, 56-year old William Englert of Ida Arkansas was driving the UTV in a field, accelerated and turned, causing the UTV to overturn onto the passenger side.
William Englert and a passenger, 53-year-old Daniel Englert of Chillicothe had serious injuries. Another passenger, 54-year-old Jerry Ballantyne of Chillicothe, had minor injuries.
All three were taken to Hedrick Medical Center for treatment. William Englert was later flown to St. Lukes Hospital in Kansas City.
