The Chillicothe Police Department responded to 91 calls for service Thursday. The calls included:
3:14 am, Officers responded to a residence in the 100 block of Henry Street where a subjects Medic Alert had activated. The person was found to be OK.
7:01 am, Report of a suspicious acting person in the 200 block of Second Street. Officers located the person and they were OK.
7:58 am, Officers out at a home in the 1200 block of Easton Street. Juvenile subject not wanting to go to school. Officers resolved the situation.
10:03 am, Officer out in the 400 block of Wise Street for a report of theft from a vehicle. A report was taken and the investigation continuing.
12:45 pm, Report of C & I driver westbound on US 36 from Wheeling. Officers monitored traffic and unable to locate the suspect vehicle.
1:29 pm, Report of a dog running loose in the area of Mansur and Hogan Streets. The dog was put back in its pen.
1:45 pm, Report of suspicious activity in the 600 block of Elmdale Rd. Investigation continuing.
2:59 pm, Officer assisted the Children’s Division on an investigation in the 200 block of Southwest Drive.
3:56 pm, Officers in the area of Gravesville Park on Jameson Street to report of a child being picked on by other kids. Officers contacted the suspect kids and handled the situation.
5:49 pm, Officers checking on a report of kids harassing a dog in the 200 block of Second Street. Officers spoke with kids.
5:54 pm, Report of suspicious activity at a building near Webster and Elm Street. Determined nothing suspicious. It was the owner at the building.
6:29 pm, Report of an individual making threats to others in the 1300 block of Monroe Street. The person making threats went with staff to seek medical assistance and evaluation.
