Chillicothe Police Report For Monday And Tuesday

The Chillicothe Police Department report for Monday and Tuesday includes more than 200 calls for service.  Some of the calls include:

 

Monday, September 21st

At 04:17 AM, Officers responded to the 200 block of Brunswick Street regarding a domestic disturbance.  After a brief investigation, one of the individuals left the residence.

At 10:00 AM, Officers conducted a well-being check and the person failed to cooperate.

At 10:30 AM, Officers responded to the 700 block of Webster Street for an accident.

At 1:45 PM, a broken black and blue cell phone was located on JFK Avenue.  A person riding a motorcycle hit a dip in the road and the items fell out. This cell phone was turned in to the police department.

At 3:20 PM, Officers responded to the intersection of Calhoun Street and Cherry Street for a semi-truck pulling down overhead lines.

At approximately 4:00 PM, Officers responded along with the Chillicothe Fire Department to the 700 block of Clay Street for a fire alarm.  Smoke from a candle had set off the alar.

At 04:57 PM Officers arrested a 31-year-old man in the 1200 block of Polk Street for driving while suspended.  He was processed and released.

At 05:00 PM, Officers responded to the 1700 block of Bryan Street for an accident where a vehicle was backing out of a driveway and struck the right front corner of another vehicle parked in the roadway.

At 6:22 PM, Officers responded to the 1500 block of Springhill Road in reference to stolen property.  A report was taken, and suspects are being sought.

At 9:00 PM, Dispatchers received a 911 call out of Carrol County for an elderly woman who was lost.  They worked with Carrol County Dispatch and Deputies to get help for her.

At 10:00 PM, Officers responded to the 1500 block of Springhill Road for a man acting in a threatening manner who allegedly possessed a knife.

 

Tuesday, September 22nd

At 3:20 AM, Officers were dispatched to the 600 block of Business 36 Highway for two semis blocking access to a business.  The drivers were contacted and moved upon request.

At 8:30 AM, Officers responded to a building in the 1500 block of Third Street about the building being unsecured.  Officer made sure the building was safe and the Chillicothe Parks Department secured the building.

At 7:19 PM, Officers assisted the Chillicothe Department of Emergency Services with a medical call in the 600 block of Webster St.

At 8:38 PM, Officers were dispatched to a possible intoxicated driver in the 1000 block of S. Washington St.  Officers located the vehicle and driver and discovered there was no impairment.
