A single-vehicle accident left a Brookfield and Bosworth man, each with minor injuries. The accident in Saline County happened Tuesday at about 6:45 pm on Highway 41 when the driver, 55-year-old David McDowell of Brookfield, suffered medical problems and ran off the left side of the road and the car ran into a cornfield. Troopers report McDowell and his passenger, 41-year-old Benjamin Graves of Bosworth, each had minor injuries and were taken to Fitzgibbon Hospital for treatment. They were wearing safetybelts.
