The Savannah Savages scored two goals in the second half to beat the Chillicothe Hornets Soccer Team 2-0 in Chillicothe. The Savages scored unassisted goals in the 56th and 64th minute. The Hornets Goalie Jaxon Albertson had four saves.
Coach Tim Cunningham said it was fun to watch the Hornets compete after a two-week layoff of games cancelled due to COVID problems on several teams.
The Hornet Soccer team is now 1-3 overall.
The JV Hornets soccer team won 3-1 with two goals for Nate King and one for Sam Reeter.
