The Chillicothe Police Department report for Sunday includes several traffic stops and business checks. Chief Jon Maples says:
At 12:43 PM, officers responded to a domestic disturbance in the 400 block of Williams Street. They found the incident was verbal and the parties agreed to separate for the evening. Officers later returned for another verbal argument. The parties again separated.
At 9:50 PM, Officers spoke on the phone with an area resident about a phone scam, where they were told them may be a winner. The Chillicothe Police Department reminds everyone to never provide your personal information over the phone or internet.
AT 7:00 PM, Officers assisted Grundy County Sheriff’s Office on a threat investigation.
At 9:50, PM, Officers responded to the 2700 block of Washington Street for an unruly woman. Officers assisted and made sure everyone was safe.
At 10:30 PM, Officer responded to Danner Park for suspicious activity. They found a coach was organizing for an upcoming ball game.
