After several weeks of improvement, the Chillicothe Hornets football team will travel to St Joseph to take on the Lafayette Fighting Irish to try for their first win of the season.
The Irish opened the season with a two-point loss at Harrisonville, beat Atchison, Kansas 28-7, beat rival Benton 13-6 and lost by two points at Savannah.
The Irish cancelled a game with St Joe Central last week, and Chillicothe Coach Tim Rulo says that makes it more difficult to prepare for Friday’s game.
Chillicothe will be searching for their first win on the season. The game will be at Lafayette High School Friday at 7:00pm.KCHI’s pre-game show begins at 6:30.
