Bad Art By Good People, a fundraising event by cultural Corner Art Guild and Gallery, will be held this Saturday. Board Chair Margaret Vance says this event was postponed a couple of times because of COVID-19, but will be held this weekend in conjunction with the Closing Reception for the Northland Artists exhibit. Vance says the Bad Art By Good People brought together 10 community members who were paired with a local artist to create works that will be auctioned off this weekend. Those artist pairs include:
The final artist pair is Mike Pope, YMCA Director, paired with Becka Anderson.
The items range from photography to watercolors, to acrylic and oil paintings, wood carvings and stained glass.
Vance says you can view the art on the Cultural Corner web page and bidding is also available.
The event is free to attend Saturday from 5:00 to just past 7:00 pm.
