The Chillicothe 8th Grade A and B teams traveled to Cameron last night (10/5). Both teams played great, especially after dealing with adversity that COVID-19 has brought on to our local middle school. Chillicothe A lost in a tough fought battle 0-2 ( 24-26, 21-25). Chillicothe B won 2-1 (21-25, 25-16, 15-8). Ali George of Chillicothe B served at the third set with 6 winning service points.
Chillicothe 7th Gr Volleyball got to play its 2nd game of the season with the same result as the 1st. another overwhelming victory. Last night’s win was 2 – 0 against Cameron at CMS Fieldhouse. Scores were 25 – 9 and 25 – 16. The Lady hornets were led by Lyla Beetsma with 13 service points, followed by Emerson Staton and Kealynn Smith each with 7. The Lady Hornets will face Maryville on Thursday at 5:00 with another home game.
