As the Livingston County Health Center is seeing a jump in cases in the early part of October, they took a look back at the month of September.
For the Month, the Health Center added 120 cases of COVID-19, they hospitalized 18 individuals for treatment. Of those, three were put on ventilators.
Two Livingston County residents lost their lives due to COVID-19.
32 cases were found in Livingston County Schools. There were 2 cases at the Meadville School. Of the total, 24 case were students and 8 were staff members.
28 cases were from four churches around the county.
5 cases were found in local nursing homes. Three were staff members and two were residents.
65 other cases came from other sources.
The health center reminds everyone to practice social distancing, wear a mask, and wash your hands often. Use of hand sanitizer is also recommended.
