Two more Chillicothe High School Sports Teams have completed their preseason jamborees.
The Lady Hornets Volleyball Team lost one match and tied two matches on Monday night at Excelsior Springs. Chillicothe lost to Excelsior Springs 12-15, 8-15. They split with Smithville 15-13 and 14-15 then split with Lawson 11-15, 15-5.
Coach Karen Jackson stated individual player statistics were not kept by coaches.
The Chillicothe Boys Soccer team competed in a three team jamboree at Excelsior Springs on Saturday. The team lost to Kearney 0-1, also losing to Excelsior Springs 0-3. Coach Tim Cunningham stated the team got better, and the coaching staff learned a lot about the team. He said he was excited for the season.
