Accidents in Carroll and Caldwell Counties left three people injured over the weekend.
A single-vehicle accident in Caldwell County happened at about 12:20 am Saturday on Route N near Braymer. State Troopers report 28-year-old Megan Fisher of Hale was eastbound when she ran off the road and her vehicle overturned, coming to rest on its wheels. Fisher was not wearing a safety belt and was taken to Cameron Regional Medical Center for treatment of moderate injuries.
Saturday at about 3:50 am in Carroll County, an ATV accident left two injured. State Troopers report 20-year-old Benjamin Hargrave of Luling, Louisiana was westbound on County Road 254 at a T intersection and began sliding. The ATV overturned and he and his passenger, 25-year-old Morgan Audsley of Mandeville, Louisiana were ejected from the ATV. They were taken to Carroll County Memorial Hospital for treatment. Hargrave had minor injuries and Audsley had moderate injuries.
Hargrave was also arrested for alleged DWI and careless and Imprudent driving resulting in an accident. He was released for treatment.
