As we age, the risk of fall increase and the results of those falls could be devastating. TJ Sethi, MU Extension County Engagement Specialist in Nutrition and Health, says there are things we can do to lower the risk of falling, improve our balance and remain independent.
Sethi also recommends having vision and hearing checks done regularly.
She also suggests other ways to reduce the possibilities of falls.
At home remove trip hazards.
