Chillicothe Lady Hornets Senior Golfer Halle Jones will spend today and tomorrow competing in the MSHSAA State Golf Championships for the fourth year.
Jones will be in the Class 2 tournament today and Tuesday at Meadow Lake Country Club in New Bloomfield. The course is a par 72.
Jones will tee off at 9:06 am on the first hole. She is just the fifth Lady Hornet golfer to qualify for the state tournament all four years. She joins Kim Koehly 1986-1989, Madison Marcolla 2002-2005, Maggie Weldon 2002-2005 and Elizabeth Sivill 2008-2011. Jones and Sivill are the only two Chillicothe players that qualified all four years as individuals and not as part of a team.
